What's your excuse?

  1. I bought a wire dipole, Because I'm: Blind, crippled, crazy, dumb.

  2. I didn't read the manual, Because I'm: Lazy, Blind, dumb, illiterate.

  3. I leave my radio hooked to the antenna, Because: Lightning will NEVER hit it, I'm lazy, I'm crippled, I'm dumb.

  4. I like to get drunk and scream on my ham radio, Because I'm: An idiot.

  5. All my antennas are only 6 feet off the ground, Because: I'm lazy, it is as high as I can reach, I'm blind, crippled, crazy.

  6. I like my SSB as wide as I can make it, Because: I'm an idiot, I like to sound like a "broadcaster" even though I never was or ever will be one.

  7. I use far over the "legal limit", because: I don't know for sure, I'm an idiot, I'm blind crippled & crazy, I want everyone to hear what "I" have to say, even if they don't want to hear it.

  8. I like my transmit audio to be over-modulated, because: I like to watch the meters "hang there", I never read the manual, I'm an idiot.

  9. I contest, because: I've got nothing to talk about.

  10. I "DX", because: I've got nothing better to do.

  11. I don't like DSP, because: I'm an old curmudgeon,  and don't like anything new,  I like not hearing the station I'm trying to communicate with,  I'm an idiot.

  12. Sure, crystal filters are more expensive, and lack the selectivity of DSP, but, by God we like it that way, because: I'm an old curmudgeon,  I'm an idiot,  I like spending money I wouldn't have to on a DSP radio.

  13. I like flaunting how much money I can spend on radio gear, because: I've got nothing better to do, I don't know how to do anything else,  I can't "dazzle them with my brilliance",  I've got money to burn.

  14. I'll accept DSP radios when: Hell freezes over,  I'm 10 years behind all other hams,  I grow a brain.

  15. Boatanchor radios are better than: Stone knives and axes,  sex,  drugs,  those "jap" radios.

  16. I like to "tune-up" on the air, because: I can,  I'm an idiot,  I have nothing better to do.

This is a humorous satire, if you don't "get it", your part of the problem.
